Rising Lotus considers potential intersections between the worlds of the occult, the landscape, the built form and sound. Based around the notion of secret societies, the works reference both the hidden forces of nature and the more calculated, ritualistic ceremonies conducted by members of a higher order within a futuristic framework.

Proposed works include a large outdoor sculptural component resembling a galactic capsule and a futuristic sweat lodge incorporating a soundtrack enabling the viewer to travel to the world of the higher-self. They will be joined by laser-emitting logs and an upside down kayak. A musical collaboration with the contemporary ambient group, Masonic, is planned for the opening night event.
